You’ve found yourself here likely because you’re exploring non-traditional forms of therapy and are looking to find a creative outlet to understand yourself, manage stress, or work through emotional difficulties.
Art therapy blends the creative process—through drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and more—with traditional talk therapy to support self-exploration and wellbeing. Art can express thoughts and feelings that may be hard to put into words, helping you visualize and make sense of your inner experiences.
With guidance from an art therapist, you can discover new ways to shift thinking patterns, improve behaviours, and find relief from stress. Creating art is naturally soothing, boosts self-esteem, encourages mindfulness, and helps you stay in the moment—unlocking the healing power within.

Sometimes your body can express more than words can. We can teach your body to feel safe through the creative process.
There is no art experience needed when it comes to art therapy, you don’t need to be good at art, or consider yourself an artist. Sometimes you won't want to make art too, and that's okay!

Tending The Self: A Gentle Art Therapy Group for Women is a welcoming six-week art therapy group for women seeking gentle insight and creative exploration.
In a supportive space, we will use art-making as a way to reflect, express, and connect—with ourselves and one another. Through guided prompts and open-ended creative processes, you'll have the opportunity to explore personal themes, gain new perspectives, and discover meaning in a way that feels natural and intuitive.
No art experience is needed—just a willingness to show up, create, and see what unfolds.​

Learn about this ancient and beautiful way of ushering in spring and the techniques necessary to transform a plain egg into an intricate and colourful object of hope.
